Twenty-First Sunday After Pentecost

Call to Worship: Psalm 99:1-5

One: Blessed be God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. ☩

Many: And blessed be God's Kingdom now and forever.

One: The Lord is King; let the people tremble; he is enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth shake.

Many: The Lord is great in Zion; he is high above all peoples.

One: Let them confess his Name, which is great and awesome; he is the Holy One.

Many: "O mighty King, lover of justice, you have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob."

One: Proclaim the greatness of the Lord our God and fall down before his footstool; he is the Holy One.

Come, let us worship.

Collect: Almighty and everlasting God, in Christ you have revealed your glory among the nations: Preserve the works of your mercy, that your Church throughout the world may persevere with steadfast faith in the confession of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Liturgy of the Table: (Adapted From Lift Up Your Hearts: Year A, OSL Publications)

One: The Lord be with you.

Many: And also with you. One: Lift up your hearts. Many: We lift them up to the Lord One: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. Many: It is right to give our thanks and praise.

One: It is right, and a good and joyful thing.

Always and everywhere to give thanks to you,
