Rev. Alicia McClintic is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene serving as the lead pastor of Selah Church of the Nazarene in Selah, Washington. She has been co-hosting A Plain Account podcast since August 2018. Alicia is an alumna of Point Loma Nazarene University (BA Literature & Spanish 2011), San Jose State University (MA English & Comparative Literature 2014), and Fuller Theological Seminary, (MA Theology & Culture 2019). Before vocational ministry, Alicia was trained as a teacher, and worked as a professor of literature and writing at San Jose State University. She cares deeply about the intersection of theology & culture, faith & art, scripture & story. She spends her free time hunting for the best breakfast burrito and cappuccino in her new city, keeping tabs on her favorite California sports teams, buying way too many books, and never writing quite as many words-per-day as she would like.
